This type of gasket plays a key sealing role in the pump body structure and needs to ensure the sealing integrity of the axial thrust system and bearing assembly.
The installation of this gasket must follow strict specifications: first, the mating surface should be cleaned to ensure that there is no contaminant residue; second, the dimensional tolerance should be checked to ensure that the matching clearance with the pump shaft and bearing seat meets the design requirements. During operation and maintenance, the gasket status should be checked synchronously with the lubrication cycle of the pre-pump (replace No. 32 turbine oil every 6 months), focusing on monitoring whether there is oil leakage or abnormal wear. If the seal surface wear exceeds 0.1mm or permanent deformation occurs, it should be replaced immediately.
In terms of temperature control, the operating temperature of the bearing chamber needs to be maintained in the range of 40-70℃ to avoid thermal expansion causing gasket seal failure. For pump bodies that run for a long time, it is recommended to measure the thickness and inspect the surface integrity of the gasket every 8,000 hours or during annual overhaul. At the same time, check whether the axial positioning of related components (such as NU319 cylindrical roller bearings and angular contact ball bearings) is offset to prevent damage to the sealing structure.
