PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

 

The main shaft supports the rotation of the steam turbine rotor in the bearing, and is the carrier of the impeller and blades, is one of the key components to realize the efficient and stable operation of the steam turbine. Its function is to drive the generator rotor by accepting the torque transmitted by the moving blades.

 

Steam turbine rotor shafts are also subject to significant mechanical and thermal stress and require high strength, high wear and high temperature resistance. Therefore, the rotor shaft of a steam turbine is usually made of high-strength alloy steel or other similar materials, and adopts complex structural design and manufacturing processes to ensure its reliability and durability.

 

The main shaft of the steam turbine unit has undergone ladle refining, vacuum ingot casting and various remelting processes to greatly reduce the content of inclusions and segregation in the core of the forging. With the improvement of the cooling process, the performance of the rotor after heat treatment is improved, the performance difference of different parts is reduced, and the structure is uniform and the grains are fine, which creates conditions for the high-sensitivity ultrasonic flaw detection of the rotor and can also obtain a lower brittle transition temperature. It ensures the good mechanical properties of the rotor and the flexibility of starting and running.
