In addition, the product is widely used for sealing and protecting the wiring parts of industrial and mining motors and explosion-proof electrical appliances in the metallurgical, chemical, and cement industries. It can also be used for moisture-proof sealing of instrument components. As a commonly used adhesive consumable for power maintenance, GD405 has been serving multiple industrial fields such as power, metallurgy, chemical, and electrical manufacturing for a long time due to its convenient room temperature curing characteristics and reliable insulation sealing performance.

 

Before construction, clean the bonding and sealing base surface to remove dust, oil stains, old adhesive stains, rust impurities, and ensure that the contact surface is dry and clean. Fill GD405 evenly into the gaps, wiring terminals, and shell joints, and let it sit naturally at room temperature to complete vulcanization and curing. Storage needs to be sealed and placed in a cool and dry environment to avoid premature contact with water vapor, which may cause solidification and scrap. In daily equipment maintenance, if it is found that the original sealant is aging and cracking, the terminal insulation is damaged, or the shell leaks water, removing the failed old sealant and refilling with GD405 can complete the repair. If the sealing protection is missing, water vapor and dust can invade the electrical chamber, which can easily cause faults such as short circuit, creepage, and coil moisture breakdown.
