The FRD.WJA3.011 low oil pressure test solenoid valve for steam turbine EH is a key testing and protection component designed specifically for the electro-hydraulic control system (EH system) of steam turbines. In the safety control logic of modern large-scale steam turbine units, the pressure of EH oil (high-pressure fire-resistant oil) is the core parameter for measuring whether the system has the ability to drive the main steam valve and regulate the steam valve. The main function of FRD.WJA3.011 solenoid valve is not to directly control the on/off of the main oil circuit, but to simulate or detect the fault signal of low EH oil pressure online, in order to verify the sensitivity and reliability of the unit safety protection system, and ensure that the system can accurately trigger shutdown protection when a low pressure fault occurs under real working conditions.

 

From the perspective of structural design, FRD.WJA3.011 usually adopts a two position three-way or two position four-way electromagnetic directional valve structure. The valve body material is mostly precision alloy steel that is resistant to high pressure and corrosion, to adapt to the special working environment of high pressure and high cleanliness in EH systems. The internal valve core is precision ground and coupled with high-performance electromagnetic coils, it can quickly move in milliseconds after receiving electrical signals. When the valve is in operation, the connection status of the oil circuit inside the valve is changed by energizing or de energizing the electromagnet. The measuring pipeline of the pressure switch or pressure sensor is manually connected to the low-pressure return oil circuit, so that the control system perceives the signal of "low pressure" when the actual pressure of the system is normal. This process can be completed without stopping or dismantling the equipment, greatly improving the convenience and safety of unit maintenance.

In terms of application logic, this solenoid valve is the core component of the turbine ETS (emergency trip system) online testing device. Operators regularly perform loop tests on each set of pressure switches by operating FRD.WJA3.011. If the system can correctly issue alarm or trip commands during testing, it indicates that the protection logic and pressure switch actions are normal; If the system does not respond, it needs to be immediately investigated and dealt with. This proactive preventive maintenance method can effectively prevent the occurrence of out of control accidents in the event of a real malfunction due to the refusal of protective devices to operate.
