Its working principle is based on the principle of differential transformer, that is, a primary coil and two secondary coils and a freely movable rod-shaped iron core are used to detect displacement. When the iron core moves inside the coil, it changes the induced electromotive force in the two secondary coils, thereby generating a differential voltage output. The output voltage value is linearly related to the displacement of the iron core, so it can be used to accurately measure the displacement of the object.
